USES

Masks

Apply pure gel or mix it with healing clay and leave it on the face for a few minutes, then wash with warm water. This combination is ideal for impure skin, providing clarifying and regenerating effects.

Exfoliation

Mix aloe vera gel, a tablespoon of oil (such as grapeseed or jojoba) and a tablespoon of sea salt until a smooth paste is formed. Gently massage into facial skin to remove dead skin cells and nourish the skin.

Post-solar hydration

Aloe vera gel is also effective for after-sun care, reducing redness, itching and repairing damaged skin. It is especially beneficial for people with sun allergies.
To prevent inflammation and razor bumps, apply aloe vera gel to shaved skin.

What is INCI?

The INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) is an internationally recognized system for naming ingredients in cosmetic products.

The amount of aloe vera in cosmetic products is reflected in the INCI. When used in significant amounts, “Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice” should be listed first. However, most products containing aloe vera Barbadensis Miller skin care products do not have this ingredient listed first, indicating that their main component is water rather than aloe vera. Balealoe’s pure aloe vera gel “L’Àloeb” uses aloe vera as its main component, which is why it tops the list of our ingredients.

Legal regulations state that “Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice” refers to actual juice, while concentrates are referred to as “Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Concentrate” or “Aloe Barbadensis Powder Extract”. Concentrates, although cheaper, lose effectiveness due to their processing and low concentration of acemannan.
Our pure aloe vera gel contains over 90% pure, organically grown aloe vera juice, with vegetable gel formers and a preservative complex of antibacterial plant extracts, ensuring maximum quality, effectiveness and purity.

Our commitment

Located on an island in the Mediterranean, we greatly value our resources, especially water. From the beginning, we decided to irrigate our crops with well water, not water from a sewage treatment plant. We care deeply about the environment, both terrestrial and marine, so we use recyclable containers. We are aware that containers often end up in the oceans, polluting our beaches with waste. Our containers are designed to be recycled and reused by refilling or by changing the pump for a lid with a hole that turns them into a scent diffuser.”
